Hoigaard's 4th Annual Bike & Boat Swap

Online submissions close at end of day, Tuesday, April 16th.
Submissions will still be taken in-person when you drop off your bike or boat Wednesday - Friday.

Hoigaard's Fourth Annual Bike & Boat Swap takes place April 20th & 21st. This is your chance to SELL your bike, canoe or kayak to earn credit to buy a new bike or boat at Hoigaard's. This is also a great time to get a great deal and BUY a used bike, canoe or kayak!

Drop-off: Wednesday through Friday, 17-19th  from 9:30am - 8:00pm

Hoigaard's Warehouse - 3945 Meadowbrook Rd., St. Louis Park

Sale: 9:30-6pm on Saturday, April 20th &11am-5pm on Sunday, April 21st

Where: Hoigaard's Retail Store - 5425 Excelsior Blvd., St. Louis Park MN

Bike/Boat Drop-Off
Once you've registered, clean up that bike or boat a bit and hold tight until  Wed., April 17th. Stop by our warehouse with your item(s) between  9:30am - 8:00pm. We'll check in your item, confirm your price and get it ready for the sale. You can drop off your bike or boat through Friday, April 19th.

If your bike or boat sells, we'll give you 100% of your sale price in credit toward a new bike or boat at Hoigaard's.

If your item doesn't sell, you'll be required to pick it up between April 22nd - 26th (or make other arrangements), otherwise we'll donate or recycle it.

Considerations:
-Make sure your bike/boat is in good working order. Note any problems when you register. Hoigaard's reserves the right to pull any item from the sale should we deem it to be dangerous or otherwise majorly defective. Clean it up and make it look nice & presentable.

-Pricing. EBbay and Craigslist may be a good resource for pricing information. Be sure to set a fair price so that your bike sells.

BUYING A BIKE OR BOAT
New this year, the sale will be at our retail store. The store will be open from 9:30-6pm on Saturday, April 20th and 11am-5pm on Sunday, April 21st for the swap. The sale will feature a variety of previously-used bicycles, canoes and kayaks.

HOW IT WORKS
We've patterned our swap after a typical ski/snowboard swap. You're responsible for setting a price (try eBay and Craigslist for suggestions on pricing) and delivering your item to our warehouse. That's it! Hoigaard's handles the sales, ticketing, etc.

There's no listing fee & we don't take a percentage of the sales for our swap. Instead, if your bike or boat sells, you get that dollar amount in the form of a Hoigaard's gift card. You can use that to buy another bike or boat or something else entirely different.
